    Covestro

Graduated in Chemical engineering by Universidad de Granada and BA by Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, both in Spain, I’ve spent the last 19 years leading technical changes at Covestro, formerly Bayer Material Science.

As a young process engineer soon I realize the needs of making business predictable and dependable.

After a few assignment in Europe and US in engineering and technical management I came to Texas in 2014 as a Reliability Director at our BTN site, focused on increasing assets availability.

Soon after Bayer carved out the Material Science business to Covestro, BTN went through a major reorganization to foster efficiency and assets utilization.

I was appointed VP for Site Technical Management end of 2016 as result of the transformation, and since then I spend my time making sure all efficiency and reliability improvements achieved over the last years are sustained and ever-greened.

I’m married, father of two and a retiring pick-up basketball player.
